Matthew Soibelman is a Bass from Los Angeles, California. In 2012, he began his vocal training with his first teacher, Reid Bruton.
After receiving his BA from California State University – Northridge under the tutelage of David Sannerud, he went on to obtain his Graduate Diploma from The Juilliard School studying under Darrell Babidge.
His most recent engagements were the Sacristan (Puccini’s Tosca) and the Colonel (Redler’s The Falling and the Rising) as a 2023 Young Artist with Opera Memphis, the Herald (Wagner’s Lohengrin) with Utah Festival Opera, and the Commendatore (Mozart’s Don Giovanni) in SAT’s collaborative production with Teatro Grattacielo.
